Privacy policy
Effective October 4, 2026
This policy explains how Neural Casts handles information on this website and in Neural Casts Uploader, our private YouTube publishing application. Contact neuralcasts@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Website visitors
You can read this website without creating an account. This site does not include advertising, analytics scripts, or embedded YouTube players. Our hosting and network providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website. Links to YouTube or other services take you to websites governed by their own policies.
Google and YouTube information
The publishing application uses Google OAuth authorization and YouTube API Services. For an authorized channel, it accesses channel identifiers and details, video identifiers and metadata, upload and processing status, captions, thumbnails, playlists, and publishing settings. It also processes the video files and metadata that the channel operator chooses to upload. OAuth credentials and tokens allow the application to perform authorized operations without asking the operator to sign in for every upload.
How information is used
We use this information to confirm the intended channel, upload and manage its videos and related assets, check processing results, maintain publishing records, and diagnose failures. The application is intended for Neural Casts channel operators, not public account registration. Google user data is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Storage and sharing
Publishing records and credentials are stored in the operator-controlled application environment. Credentials are not included in this public website. Videos and associated metadata are sent to Google and YouTube to carry out publishing instructions. Content made public on YouTube is visible according to the selected publishing settings. We do not otherwise share Google user data except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or protect security.
Retention and deletion
Publishing records are retained while needed to operate and maintain the channel. Operators may request removal of locally stored Google user data and credentials by contacting neuralcasts@gmail.com. Revoking authorization prevents future authorized access but does not itself remove previously uploaded YouTube content or all local publishing records. Uploaded content can be managed or deleted through YouTube Studio.
Your control over access
You can revoke the application’s access at any time through Google account permissions. You may also request access to or deletion of information held by Neural Casts using the contact address above.
Google policies
Neural Casts Uploader’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. For information about Google’s own practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
